Guy was are agent when we were purchasing our home. He is an excellent agent, personable, responsive and very knowledgeable about the Santa Cruz market. He was quickly able to understand our needs and immediately began sending recommendations and open house schedules. When we closed on our home, everything was easily done via email and docu-sign so no cumbersome paper signings. In this way we were very quickly able to get the details taken care of on the real estate side of things. This was so important to us to work with someone via email as we were far away and extremely busy. He also helped us navigate through some unusual circumstances during and after the transaction. Guy was the second agent we worked with during my wife and my first home buying adventure. He was highly recommended to us by a dear friend of ours who we trust very much. Our first agent sold much higher end homes and made us feel that we weren't as important because our budget wasn't in the million dollar range, constantly putting us on the back burner. Before even meeting him, Guy made it clear that he would help us just as much as any other homebuyer. Being first time home buyers we had very little knowledge regarding the housing market and house buying process. Guy made us feel very comfortable with the entire process and was incredibly responsive with any questions or concerns my wife and I had. I was always told to not get your hopes up too much when you put in an offer because you go through several before one gets accepted. In a constantly increasing market we were lucky to have our third offer accepted. The world seems to work in mysterious ways, the home we purchased blows away the previous homes we put offers on. If it wasn't for Guy we would not have gotten the home. Upon going to the open house, Guy immediately spoke to the selling agent after we told him how much we loved the place. The condo, having new upgrades, was very popular and had many offers. Guy had previously recommended we put together a "letter to the seller" giving some background information about my family and I. Though we were not the highest offer, the sellers loved our letter and decided to go with our offer. This is a huge moment in anybody's life and Guy made this experience amazing for my wife and I! We were so happy to have met and work with him. We raved about him to our parents and now they are going to use him to sell their home and purchase a new home. We love Guy and would HIGHLY recommend working with him!
