After many years of dreaming of New Orleans, I made this city my home in 2005, just two months before Hurricane Katrina. Prior to selling real estate, I was in the public education field for 15 years. It was only after spending years stud ying the amazing architecture, lovely homes, and history of New Orleans, that I became a realtor. Something in this city's architecture just "grabbed" me and I wanted to share that feeling with homebuyers in the area. It's truly rewarding to see sellers meet their personal goals and move on to the next chapter in their lives and equally as rewarding to see the joy and excitement on a buyers' faces when they finally get the keys to their own piece of New Orleans and her vibrant culture. My passion for New Orleans has allowed me to become knowledgeable about the many diverse neighborhoods and what they have to offer a homebuyer. I work tirelessly for my clients whether it's marketing their home to its best advantage or finding the perfect match for the new homebuyer. I own a home in the Bywater neighborhood, which is undergoing a transformation of its own. I enjoy gardening and restoring my beautiful 130 year old home to its original beauty. I share my Victorian home with two rescued German shepherd dogs who bring me great joy and a lot of exercise.
