Greg is Broker/Owner of Gosselin Realty Group, a REALTOR, 2021 President of Maine Listing, (Maine MLS), 2017 Past President of The Maine Association of REALTORS, 2015 Past President of York County Council of REALTORS. Get pre-qualified with a good lender to determine what you can afford to invest in your purchase. Remember that you never want to over extend your self. Insure you have a good home inspector, interview a few agents to insure that you both have compatible communication styles and personalities that work well together. Trust is everything!
Price your home realistically! Buyers today have access to an overwhelming amount of information and know the markets and values within those markets. Insure you stage your home to show its best to get a better return on your investment. Make sure all the decision makers are on the same page. Negotiations only work when both parties are flexible. At the end of the day the buyers will determine the market value by the offers or lack thereof.
