ZillowVERIFIEDGigi reached out to me randomly via text and email a year after my husband briefly worked with her boss. At the time we met her boss to consider working with them to sell our home and Gigi tagged along. We chose a different realtor to work with. A year later She sent out a generic email saying she can help me aEURoebuy a propertyaEUR? which is totally irrelevant to me. Then she also texted meaEUR| I really have no respect for this kind of spamming and solicitation, and politely I told her that. She claimed that she was reaching out because I had at some point aEURoelooked at her websiteaEUR? as she put it - which is untrue (as a matter of fact I never provided her with my contact nor was I even aware that she has a website to be frank). In response she could have given me an apology, but she chose to ignore my text after asking her kindly to not reach out to me as I have no business working with her nor do I have any intention on purchasing properties. Had she been professional and simply apologized it would have been a different story, but the fact that she was rude really shows her lack of professionalism. I would definitely not recommend her for these reasons. Professionalism is very important in an industry that is basically a word of mouth business. Gigi comes off too abrasive and lacks communication skills.

ZillowVERIFIEDI had two experience with Gigi. I first purchased a apartment from her, she was also the listing agent. That experience was decent, she was knowledgeable and responsive. So, when I was renting out the apartment, I also chose her. She asked me to sign a rental contract, which I can choose not to, but I did, since I trusted her. This contract gave her the exclusive right to list my apartment for three months. Heres my experience,1. Unresponsive: she nor was her agent were proactively updating me on the situation. I had to reach out to get information. 2. Inaccurately evaluations: overstated the market price, which causes 2 months turnover. And it wasnt rented until price was dropped by 12% (It is very long for a one bedroom in forest hills).3. Loss focus: she passes most of the work to her associate. And her associate is not professional, not hardworking, gives a lot of excuses. 4: unprofessional: while she was on vacation, her associate contacted me the move-in date of the tenants, and promised to drop of the checks and email me the detail of the move-in (tenants info, and rent calculation). However, he did not contact me the entire day. Not until I reach out. And he simply told me to chill. 5. Rude: I reach out to Gigi about this situation, she told me she paid for my listings advertisement. And the tenant pays her commission. I was speechless. I signed her the apartment, thou I dont pay her, she does represent me, and should act in my interest. I dont understand what she meant by her telling me that tenant is the one thats paying her. I regularly rent our apartments, and this is the worst experience I had with rental listing agent. Be advise.
