I would schedule a buyer consultation to get a little more information and understanding to when and why they are wanting to purchase a home. I would then suggest that they start the pre approval process with a lender of their choice.
I would schedule a listing appointment where I would find out more about why and where they are wanting to move. This way we can put a strategic plan in place.

My clients were first time home buyer’s and going with a VA loan. They were in their late 70’s and early 90’s and have rented their entire life. The rent was getting too high for their fixed income. I helped them find a recently flipped half duplex with all appliances, windows, roof, just everything was new. All they had to do was move their personal belongings in. The best part was that they didn’t have to pay anything at closing , as a matter of fact they received money back at closing.
I knew I didn’t want to be in my 70’s still personal training so I chose a new career that I’ve always had a strong interest in.
I just passed my broker exam. I am officially a broker associate at the brokerage I am with today.
