Steve stepped up even before he became the listing agent for our property. Before meeting Steve, we had known another agent who we had chosen for the purchase of a new home. My husband (not our agent) found our new property. When going through the escrow process, it became apparent that I (not our agent) needed to arrange for a roof inspection. Even though Steve was not part of that purchase transaction, but since we had become acquainted with him as a neighbor, he was kind enough to help us secure a reliable roof inspector. At that point, once the purchase transaction had completed, we decided to list with Steve. What a difference Steven made! The whole process was organized, efficient, and seamless. TL;DR - Hire Steve Hamel! Longer version - where do I start? I needed to sell my home while I was living abroad and I could have never done it without Steve Hamel. He provided expert guidance and advice throughout the process, from when to put my home on the market, what preparations I should make to the home to try to get the highest price, navigating the offers we received, and managing the escrow process so the home closed early! Steve had tons of local contacts that made the process go smoothly such as a reputable plumber, a painter, a cleaner, a staging company, and a termite company. All of his local contacts were incredibly professional and he handled working with them to ensure we stuck to our timeline to get the home on the market. Steve also did a phenomenal job navigating the offer and escrow process. The home got 10 (!!) offers, in large part due to all of the expert advice Steve provided, but he also made the negotiation and escrow process stress free, guiding me each step of the way. Throughout the whole journey, Steve was trustworthy, communicative, and knowledgeable, making him the perfect expert advisor for the process. I couldn't recommend him enough!
