Hello, My name is Gemma Mottern. I am from Newland, NC and I am fortunate enough to have lived in the Appalachian Mountains all my life. My husband Nathan and I have two daughters, a son and a grandson. I am a member of Lower Shell Creek Christian Church and take pleasure in participating in various volunteer activities throughout the Tri Cities. I also enjoy spending time working on our family farm in Roan Mountain, TN where Nathan and I raise grass fed beef, camping and fishing. I spent 20 years working as a paramedic and 8 years as a firefighter and I have always enjoyed helping others.
