Be prepared going into the Buying process as much as possible. This would include things like Loan Approval, selecting the home that is the right fit for your current situation, knowing all the costs that are associated with owning a home, selecting an agent to help you thru the process and being flexible.

Select a good Real Estate Agent that will be honest and do the research to give you an accurate picture of the market activity for your specific area. Also be flexible and realize that real estate market conditions are fluid and change often.

Sellers and Buyers.

I sold my friends home in Little Elm, Texas so that they could move to Finland and start a new career and life there. We were on a specific timeline to get it sold and closed for their move, and it all came to together beautifully. We sold their home for asking price and got to closing in just the right time for them to meet their deadline. They were very motivated to do their part in the preparation, showings and flexible on the minor issues. So it was a Team effort and it worked great!

I have been involved with real estate for 35yrs in one form or another. From selling and buying our own homes to building and selling custom homes for others. So moving into the Agent role was a natural move for me.
