ZillowVERIFIEDWe first met Gabe after just having moved to Santa Fe. Although we've been visiting SF for years, we knew zero about the different neighborhoods. We saw a home online that looked good in pics and wanted to see if it would work for us. Enter Gabe! He told us that he was a lifelong Albuquerque resident and sold extensively in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Los Alamos. Although this home wasn't the one for us, Gabe was definitely a lucky find! This was the beginning of a 9 month house search. We wanted to stay in SF but started to get a little bit discouraged because of the home prices so we expanded our search to Albuquerque. I don't even know how many homes Gabe patiently took us to see. With each one he went over the pros and cons of the area and, as he got to know us better, he gave us invaluable input into neighborhoods, as well as to potential upgrades and renovations and how that would translate into recovering those costs should we sell. Eventually we put in an offer that was accepted on a home in a really great part of Albuquerque but after inspection the unseen costs were a little more than we bargained for and we backed out. Did Gabe get upset with us? I'm telling you this man is a Saint! Not only did he not get upset but he was even more encouraging! We were pretty dejected but Gabe gave us a pep talk and told us not to worry, our home was out there. Wise words as we soon found a wonderful home in Santa Fe which is where we wanted to be from the beginning. Without Gabe's patience, encouragement and knowledge I'm pretty sure we would have given up. He's just such an all-around great guy and a true professional that is a pleasure to work with. After we closed on our home my husband looked at me and said we're going to have Gabe withdrawals and that was the truth! He felt like a friend to us and I can't imagine a better compliment than that.
