Even with a family endorsement, Frank exceeded our expectations. Being new to the real estate market as also first-time home buyers, Frank proactively set up a meeting at a convenient location immediately after we expressed our desire to purchase a home within three months. He graciously took the time to walk my skeptical husband and me (not as skeptical) through the entire buying process and answer all our questions no matter how obscure. Frank demonstrated his comprehensive knowledge about the local market to which we were both unfamiliar (my husband is a foreigner and I had been living abroad for an extended time). We discussed the latest real estate trends mainly the squeeze on inventory and rising interest rates, and how to best confront the current inventory issue.One of Franks great qualities is his communication skills. He was easily reachable and was very prompt in his responses, which is key in a market in which houses sell within hours of listing. We looked at our first two properties back-to-back (at least one hours drive away) within the first two weeks. Initially, my husband and I were on different ends of the spectrum when it came to location, he wanted country, and I wanted urban living. When I came across a new listing which would meet both our demands, I immediately called Frank, and he was able to set up one of the very first viewings of this unique property.I was a complete amateur and out of my league when it came to strategizing on an initial offer. Frank was able to steer us in the right direction without forcing us into a sum or terms we were uncomfortable with. He was very committed to helping us with our initial offer, and instantly drew up the necessary mountain of paperwork. Using the edocument signing platform made things much easier. Each time an electronic document was sent Frank diligently explained the terms and conditions of every single contractual agreement (theres a lot). Once our initial offer was accepted Frank quickly facilitated the initial inspection and recommended contractors for further specific inspections. We followed his recommendations, and My husband and I were impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by all the contractors. Throughout the process his guidance helped us navigate the sometimes-cumbersome activity.I believe Franks greatest quality is his negotiation skills, which is what one truly seeks in a real estate agent. After the inspections, Frank was able to successfully negotiate a change in purchase price we were aEURoepleased as punchaEUR? with and ultimately secure the final purchase on our behalf. I cant reiterate how important it is to trust your real estate agent. Inherently, it may seem that they are out to profit from the sellers side as they are the ones who pay the commission, but I never felt that way with Frank. Through his determined negotiating, we knew that Frank had our best interests at heart, even my skeptical husband decided to trust Frank.Overall, I think Frank is a distinguished and rare agent. He is highly ethical, and an absolute expert in the field of real estate (he even helped draft the standardized forms).
