ZillowVERIFIEDSo heres what I would say about Esther. She has a good handle on understanding local comps for the neighborhood that we were in. Both her and the staff members of the firm that she works with. I understand that when you hire anybody for their expertise, that you defer to that expertise. In our particular situation, there was a home that was bringing down comps for everyone in our neighborhood. After giving a lot of thought, I had expressed to Esther that I could not in good conscience allow comps to bring down the value of our home. What I appreciated from Esther is she listened to me, as the customer, and adjusted our listing price to be more amenable to what I was looking for. As a result, we ended up getting $20,000 above our listing price which was what we were seeking at a minimum. For me, this was a demonstration of a Realtor, listening to their customer to get the best possible return on investment for our home.

She negotiated the price down to where we were comfortable. Esther was needed again, months after closing, when we were made aware that the prior year prop. taxes were delinquent. Again, she got them paid by the previous owner!
