FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
1. Get clear on your numbers first
Before you fall in love with a home, know what you’re comfortable paying monthly—not just what you’re approved for. Your lifestyle matters more than the max loan.
2. Get pre-approved, not just pre-qualified
A strong pre-approval puts you in a position of power. Sellers take you seriously, and you move faster when the right home shows up.
3. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time
Trying to time the market usually leads to missed opportunities. The right time is when you’re ready and the numbers make sense for you.
4. Focus on value, not just price
The cheapest home isn’t always the best deal. Look at location, condition, and long-term potential.
5. Expect competition—and be ready
Good homes move fast. When you find the right one, be prepared to act confidently, not emotionally.
6. Work with someone who educates you, not pressures you
You want guidance, strategy, and protection—not just someone opening doors.
7. Think long-term
Ask yourself: “Will this home still make sense for me in 3–5 years?” That’s how you build stability and wealth.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
1. Price it right from day one
The first 2 weeks are everything. That’s when your home gets the most attention. Price it right, and you create demand. Price it wrong, and you end up chasing the market.
2. First impressions win
Buyers decide within seconds. Clean, declutter, and make the home feel open and inviting. You don’t need perfection—you need presentation.
3. Be emotionally detached
This is no longer your home—it’s a product. The more you treat it like a business decision, the better your outcome.
4. The market decides, not us
Feedback matters. If showings are happening but no offers are coming in, the market is speaking—listen and adjust.
5. Be flexible to win
Sometimes it’s not just about price. Credits, terms, or timing can be the difference between sitting and selling.
6. Marketing matters more than ever
It’s not enough to just list your home. You need exposure—online, social media, and strong positioning to stand out.
7. Work with someone who tells you the truth
Not the highest price… the right strategy. You want honesty, negotiation, and a clear plan from start to finish.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, each with different goals and situations.
First-time homebuyers – guiding them step-by-step from financing to getting their keys
Move-up buyers and growing families – helping them transition into homes that match their next chapter
Sellers – from straightforward listings to more complex situations that require strategy and positioning
Real estate investors – flips, buy-and-hold, and clients focused on building long-term wealth
New construction buyers – helping clients navigate builders, incentives, and contracts to make sure they’re protected
Relocation clients – both incoming and outgoing, helping them transition smoothly into or out of the Bakersfield market
Ranch and land buyers/sellers – working with clients looking for space, agricultural use, or long-term land investment
Commercial clients – assisting business owners and investors with properties that align with their operational or financial goals
Property owners – supporting with management, tenant situations, and portfolio growth
Distressed or unique situations – including probate, pre-foreclosure, and properties that need significant work
What I’ve learned is this:
No two clients are the same. Every situation requires a different level of strategy, communication, and problem-solving.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One transaction I’m really fond of was helping a client sell a property that had been sitting with little activity before we got involved.
When I first met them, they were frustrated. The home had been on the market, not getting the traction they expected, and they were starting to lose confidence in the process.
Instead of just relisting it, we took a step back and built a strategy.
We repositioned the property—adjusted pricing based on real market data, improved the presentation, and elevated the marketing. We made sure the home wasn’t just “listed”… it was seen and felt by the right buyers.
Once we relaunched, the response completely shifted.
We generated strong interest, created momentum, and ultimately secured an offer that made sense for the seller. From there, we stayed proactive—navigated inspections, handled negotiations, and kept everything moving smoothly all the way through closing.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got started in real estate back in 2017.
At the time, I didn’t come from a background of money or connections—I actually started with about $50 to my name. But what I did have was a strong desire to build something bigger, not just for myself, but for my family.
I moved to the U.S. when I was 10, and from early on I knew I wanted to create opportunities—not just earn income, but build something that could change lives. Real estate gave me that path.
When I first started, it wasn’t easy. I had to learn everything from the ground up—how to communicate, how to build trust, how to generate business. Over time, I leaned into mentorship, surrounded myself with the right people, and committed to constant growth.
That’s what really changed everything for me.
I went from being a solo agent… to building a team… and eventually becoming a broker-owner of D Best Realty. Today, my focus is not just on closing deals, but on helping others grow—whether that’s my clients or the agents I mentor.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes—I’ve invested heavily in my education and training because I believe my clients deserve a higher level of service and guidance.
I attended both Bakersfield College and California State University, Bakersfield, where I built a strong foundation in discipline, communication, and personal development.
I’m also a licensed real estate broker, which allows me to operate at a higher level when it comes to contracts, negotiations, and protecting my clients’ best interests.
In addition, I’m certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which has significantly shaped how I communicate, negotiate, and guide clients. It helps me better understand people, ask the right questions, and create clarity in what can sometimes feel like a complex process.
I’ve also been actively involved in Toastmasters International, where I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills that directly translate into how I advocate for my clients.
On top of that, I continue to train and stay aligned with top industry leaders like Tom Ferry, while also investing in modern strategies like AI-driven marketing, negotiation training, and market analysis.
