Think about what is important to you when looking at homes when preparing your home. What stands out? Also, try to remember this is a transaction. It can be challenging to remove feelings or sentiments when selling a home you have lived in for years, but remaining too attached will make the process more stressful and difficult.

Anyone from first-time home buyers to experienced investors buying or selling different types of properties in different price ranges, from mobile homes to beachfront properties and everything in between.

I recently helped a couple sell their townhome and purchase a single-family home they plan on living in now that they are retired. They were pleasantly surprised by the sale price I was able to bring in and how quickly the offer came through. For the purchase, I was able to send them a detailed video walkthrough before they were able to see the home. This provides a realistic perspective of the home and what to expect during inspections. We negotiated a good price and furniture, making their move that much easier. In both cases, I took the time to lay out expectations for how each transaction should progress along with possible issues that might arise. I'm all about setting expectations as much as possible.
