Emily Wood

Over the next 5 years I moved all over the rugged west, working primarily as a mule packer in the John Muir Wilderness in the High Sierra Nevada Mountains in central California. Living off the grid in the backcountry furthered my love for land and desire to be self sufficient. While In California, I attained my Permaculture Design Certificate, which I believe will assist me in helping buyers find the right land for their needs.

In 2015, I left my mules behind and started my new endeavor in the wild and welcoming mountains of Madison county, where my sweetheart I moved onto a 24 acre farm in the Revere Community with plans to homestead. A year later, we are now running a small scale, organic farm, implementing Permaculture principles, and providing food for ourselves and neighbors. My love for the land, my community, and my new-found realization for what "home" can mean, helped me realize that a career in real estate was the right choice.

As a new comer to Madison county, I feel I can offer a helpful perspective on transitioning to life in this beautiful place. I am excited about the limitless possibilities of land ownership, and am passionate about helping clients find the property that is right for them.
