I had the best experience ever with Santana Properties. They helped me to sell my house during these crazy times. I had no previous experience in selling a house and I had a tight timeline because of an already planned international move. I contacted Santana Properties via their homepage and I received a call back on the same day. Carlos took almost an hour to explain the basic steps of selling my house and what Santana Properties could offer. I also contacted other realtor companies and had very mixed experiences, none took as much time for me as did Carlos. After the initial contact, Carlos and Liz stopped by to take a look at the house. Three days later they took the photos/drone-videos/3D-images of the house. They helped me to stage the house and even gave me a hand to carry out old furniture. Three days later, the house was listed. After 5 consecutive days of open houses (all organized by Santana Properties), the house was sold. But the support didn't stop there. I received a 'manual' listing all important to-do's, the best timing and what I could expect to happen during the next 8 weeks. During this stressful time, Carlos checked in regularly to make sure I had no question and I felt super confident that everything was on track. And it was! My experience selling the house was as good as it could get! Thank you to Santana Properties and the whole team!

Having bought and sold real estate in the greater Boston market as a homeowner three times over the last 15 years, I'd have to say that the Santana Properties Team made the simultaneous home sale/buy process head and shoulders above all others! To start, as if by brought by destiny (or her child), Charlotte was the first agent in the first property that I was seriously considering! With that said, she was never pushy; she was just very informative about the area (i.e., hyper-local to the Somerville and Cambridge markets, as well as some surrounding towns). Once I realized that particular property wasn't the right fit for me, Charlotte gave me her card in case I have questions before I went on my merry way checking out other properties. As it happened, another property in particular stood out and I realized Santana Properties was the real estate group representing the seller. I reached out via email to Charlotte with some questions and, boy, did she answer! We spent about 90 mins video-conferencing, going over the buying process in general, along with her patiently and informatively answering my questions about trying to sell and buy simultaneously. [By the way, this was BEFORE I signed anything asking her to represent me!] Knowing I had to do my due diligence in vetting other buyer agents, Charlotte gave me the contact info of a previous client as a referral and left it at that. Of course, from her previous client, 's rave reviews, I signed to have Charlotte be my buyer agent. Because I was trying to buy AND sell at the same time without the need to rent short-term or couch surf, Charlotte recommended her Santana Properties colleague, Carlos Ramirez, who is solely a listing agent. After more due-diligence vetting, I also signed Carlos to be my listing agent. I'm so glad both Charlotte and Carlos work in the same group; I'm also glad that the group is Santana Properties! Because of their relationship with North American Development, Santana Properties team members have better knowledge and access to these properties. Thus, on the buy side, Charlotte was able to show me new constructions just about to be completed! With her expert guidance, attention to detail, positive energy, and tremendous patience and gumption, I was able to close on a property with mortgage and home sale contingencies, something unheard of in the greater Boston market! Over on the buy side, one of Carlos' team member, Liz Wheeler, helped me stage my home. The best was her impressed reaction when I showed her the actual staging results after our consult! With lightning speed, Carlos and his team were able to photograph my (now former) condo and have the listing online on a Thursday morning with open houses that weekend, resulting in pre-pandemic level traffic and sign-ins. With Carlos' Gandalf-like guidance and chess-master-level strategy, we were able to accept an offer by end of day that next Tuesday! Fast forward roughly 2.5 months from our 1st meetings, I simultaneously sold my old property and bought a new one. Now I'm in my new place, trying to write a review that does justice to how wonderful Santana Properties Team members have been throughout this particular home selling and buying experience. Of course, special shout out to Morgan Vanderford, closing specialist guru who was working behind the scenes for both my purchase and my sale! I could barely keep track of all the documents; I have no idea how you handle that for multiple clients! The real estate journey from the consumer perspective is never straightforward; it's as enjoyable as receiving the news that no drilling are needed at the dentist or no shots are required at the doctor's office. With that said, Santana Properties made home selling and buying more like a bike wine tour: you may go through bumps along the way but you're treated with sabre-corked champagne at the end!
