Emilia Freitag

Emilia Freitag, a Ridgefield resident, was born into the Maresca Family in Ridgefield and raised in the borough going through and graduating from the town's school system. She attended Bergen Community College and then began a career in the banking industry which culminated with her position as a Vice President for National Community Bank as its Head Foreign Exchange Trader. Emilia married her husband John (now a retired Ridgefield Police Officer) and raised their three children John the 3rd, Gina and Christopher who also attended and graduated from the Ridgefield School System and went on to college. John graduated from Rutgers University and owns Yellow Wagon Landscaping and Design, Ridgefield, NJ, Gina graduated from Monmouth University and will be graduating St. Peters University in the spring with her Master's Degree in education and Christopher (who is also a borough firefighter) presently attends Bergen Community College and is a special police officers in town. In 2004, Emilia began her career in real estate . In her first calendar year of business (even though in reality it was only nine months), Emilia achieved the Bronze Level in sales as determined by the Eastern Bergen County Board Of Realtors. In each consecutive year she has been in business since she has achieved either the Silver or Gold level of sales as determined by the same board and was additionally awarded with The Distinguished Sale Club award in 2013 by them. NJAR Circle of Excellence Award 2011-2014 Gold and Silver In 2015 Emilia received a Proclamation from the Mayor of Ridgefield, NJ honoring her during Women's History Month for Women's leadership. Emilia, has again been recognized and awarded as a 2016 Five Star Real Estate Agent in New Jersey. This prestigious award (Freitag's sixth consecutive year) is given to only the top 7 of agents rated by customer satisfaction survey by recent home buyers conducted by QMI research with the results published in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Emilia closed well over $20,000,000 in 2015 Sales Volume and was once again the #1 agent in Ridgefield. Out of 8000 agents in the MLS, Emilia ranked #12 for closed transactions in the New Jersey MLS and ranked #5 Agent in 2015 of closed transactions in the New Jersey MLS in Fort Lee, Cliffside Park, Edgewater, Palisades Park, Leonia and Ridgefield Park.
