Liz did a great job ensuring I understood the process. She made sure I got the maximum value for my home. She was very knowledgeable and was quick to respond to my questions. I was out of state but Liz made the process seamless and smooth where selling my hone was one less thing I had to worry about during my move.

Liz Samuels is one of the best people you will meet. By extension, I think she is probably one of the best, most honest, most generous realtors that there could be. Admittedly, I don't know many realtors, but let me explain my experience with Liz. I met her through a company relocation package. She gathered some places to show me and when I showed her some locations I was interested in, she put them together for a tour of the area. I brought my partner with me, and she and he immediately hit it off. I think something with her growing up in Belize and him growing up in The Philippines, I don't know. But they felt natural together, and Liz was warm, caring, and patient. We spent the whole Sunday together, made some inside jokes, saw some new places, and went our separate ways. At the time, she sort of dropped the idea of buying, but I wasn't in a place to do it emotionally and financially. A few months later, still looking for a place to rent because we were taking advantage of the relocation package, we ran into another agent at Liz's office. When we described the last few months, and knowing what rents were in the area, she suggested getting back into contact with Liz. We had maintained friendly contact during those weeks, so it wasn't an issue. Liz immediately went into hyperdrive. She hooked me up with a fantastic mortgage officer that told me what would work. I got preapproved, and immediately we went looking. My partner and I did a lot of the hunting on our own, honestly. Liz would mention things now and then that hadn't come on the market, but we preferred to do a lot of the groundwork ourselves since we were new to the whole thing. Every single time we were interested in a place, all we had to do was let Liz know, and she was all over it at any time. Calling agents, calling the loan officer, calling everyone. Finding out everything. Showing up at places with us, needling for information on offers, everything. She would talk us through things. She would never discourage us. Never at any time did I feel like Liz was encroaching on a deeply personal decision, but I feel like she was there at every single moment to help with anything we needed. If we got rejected from an offer, Liz was there with a bottle of wine and words of encouragement. If we were excited about a place, she'd show up and talk about possibilities. The entire thing wasn't easy, and we went through many offers and many rejections. Each time, Liz was right there to start again the next weekend. She is communicative, responsive, insightful, and wants to know how to help. She even asks these things actively. She's not simply available, but she made herself an active participant, a conscience, and a guide. We finally ended up in a place that had the right location, the right pallet to turn into what we wanted, and the right price. Liz was there to negotiate immediately. My one regret is that I didn't let her do the negotiating on price. I think we were so exhausted that we didn't want to jeopardize anything, but she was able to have seller repair our termite damage. The inspector she recommended was awesome and he was incredibly helpful. Throughout the entire closing process, Liz was right there for every single question, every single confusion, and every single frustration. We finally closed, and when she handed us the keys, we all had tears. I still talk to Liz. As a matter of fact, for my birthday, she called me at work with the most excited "Happy Birthday!!" out of anyone. She stopped by to see the house with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine that I promptly drank that night. She was excited about what we had done with the place (she had seen it during renovation but coronavirus had put a halt to more frequent visits), and she talked about what's going on in her life. It felt like more than just a business partner. Meeting Liz was probably one of the more life changing encounters in my life, because I ended up finally being able to settle down in a job I like in a location I love. Because of Liz, we not only ended up with a beautiful home, but we also ended up with an amazing friend.
