It was a frustrating, disappointing experience to attempt to contact Andrew and other members of his team to set up a viewing of a listing for which I was ready to give an offer. He initially responded to my request for viewing, emailing and asking about my availability during an earlier part of the week. I sent two follow-up emails back, offering various dates, without response. I left two voicemails with him and another listing agent over a 2-day period, trying to clarify to be able to make pre-emptive arrangements for work coverage, and finally upon calling a different agent, did I receive confirmation that the unit had been sold. I don't think my expectations are unrealistic - just standard dignity and basic expectations that someone acknowledges a work-related contact. If he had decided to not follow through with the showing or if another offer had been already accepted, a simple and cordial yes or no would have sufficed.
