His 2 grandchildren are his biggest joy. Doug and is wife, Diane like to travel to New England, especially Cape Cod. Doug is originally from the Rochester area but has lived in the Capital District since the late 80s. Doug is a volunteer EMT at a local EMS station, and he supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; mostly due to the fact that his youngest daughter is a happy & healthy leukemia survivor.
