Thisincluded what it would mean for us personally and for our family.We lived in our house for 26 years, and so what we would needto do to get it ready, and what she could do to help. She evenoffered to help us to sort through our basement! She let us knowthe potential impact on our children ie. friends/neighbors wouldask them, and so we would need to prepare them. Of course,we spoke about the selling price, and what we would be happywith. She set our expectations that it would depend on thesupply at the point we were ready. But she let us know the besttime to sell the house ie Spring, but also at other times duringthe year. So we always felt that we could be successful whenwe put the house on the market and we would always be toldthe truth and in a timely manner. Every time we called/emailedKatriona, she responded within minutes, or let us know whenshe would be able. At the end of the day, it came down to trust.Trust that Katriona had our best interests at heart, and she would always do the right thing for us. We met with other brokers, and didn't feel that they were asrealistic. Timing during COVID was a factor, as well as price themarket would bear. In retrospect, they didn't have our bestinterests at heart, and some gave bad advice. Looking back atthe process, it was smooth.Katriona listened to what was important to us, and amongstother things, where we would move to was key. She let us know that she would assist us in that search which was comforting to know.
