Don Souers

Don and Theresa Souers (25 years experience) *Voted "Best Realtor" for the Best of Tahoe Awards 2015* Few resort destinations can compare to Lake Tahoe. And no one understands the nuances of our unique area better than Don & Theresa Souers. The concept of team work has filled their entire lives (let's face it, any time a couple can be together since high school and still work together with a smile - there's teamwork.) Having grown up in Bakersfield, CA, Don & Theresa moved to Eureka, CA where they finished their education and raised two small children. In 1991, a job transfer with a major shipping industry brought the Souers to Lake Tahoe and when it was time to move again, they said, "are you crazy?" "We are never leaving Lake Tahoe." Since 1993, they continued to live in Lake Tahoe, finished raising their kids and began a career as hard-working real estate professionals. Don is known as the recreation director of the group and as a result of his passion for the outdoors, he knows every street, slope, trail, fishing hole and bike bath to be found in the area. When it comes to real estate, it is harder to find an agent that has a better critical eye when exploring structures. Theresa says, "Wow - look at that view." Don says, "Hmmm - look at that hole in the floor." TEAMWORK!
