Don Anthony was recommended to me by Clever Real Estate as an agent who would charge a 1.5% seller's fee rather than the usual 3%, yet provide full service. That promise was thoroughly kept. Don Anthony's team provided complete and excellent service throughout the selling process. First Marilyn helped with getting the house listed and setting an asking price. She was very friendly as well as professional, especially in identifying exactly what selling points to emphasize and advising on how best to position our house in the local market. Then Lynda took over to guide the process through to closing, giving excellent advice at every turn. I must confess that I was a little hesitant when I found out that I would mainly have to communicate with Lynda by text message or phone, rather than in person (as I had been able to do with Marilyn); an in person consultation would have necessitated a further charge. But Don filled in the gaps by sending videos with detailed information and advice at each important stage. And Lynda never failed to be available promptly when needed, plus she was always patient in sticking with a question or problem till it was fully answered or solved. She also provided a firm and confident hand whenever there was an item to be negotiated. So in the end I understood Don's business model and how it helped keep the fee low, while sacrificing nothing in the way of service. Indeed, he and his team together probably went over and beyond the level of service one might expect from an individual agent in person. In short, I was thoroughly satisfied with the service I got from the Don Anthony team and cannot recommend them too highly.
