Don Fedrigon

I moved to Northern Michigan when I was 10 years old, upon my fathers retirement from chemical engineering at Parke Davis. My family owned and operated the marina in Elk Rapids as well as becoming involved in real estate development, condominium development and rental management. This has given me a unique perspective of the local real estate market plus the area lakes and many water activities available. I graduated from Elk Rapids High School and later attended Northern Michigan University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. After college, I worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In 1981, I decided to follow in my fathers’ footsteps and begin a career in real estate. I owned and managed a large office before starting RE/MAX of Elk Rapids in 1989. Since the beginning of my real estate career, I have experienced continued success in helping my clients list or sell their properties. Realizing that my dream was to actively participate in Real Estate sales, I chose to redirect my energy and focus and open a RE/MAX office. Under my management, RE/MAX of Elk Rapids has lead the local real estate market in sales since its inception.

I value the importance of maintaining education and designations to best serve my clients. My designations are as follows: CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment Member, this designation required many years of continued education as well as proof of actual commercial sales. There are only a handful of Michigan Realtors with this distinguished designation.
