ZillowVERIFIEDI had started my home search with a family friend -which in many cases I do not recommend doing. After learning in a short period of time that the family friend wasn't a good match I was referred to Don and to make a long story short, he became like family. He was such a huge attribute in me making the best decision on not just a home but my first home. When it comes to realtors, I was able to see with the family friend that I was having to do all the work. I was doing the web searches and driving around in neighborhoods looking for homes that weren't listed in the MLS pages. I chose to finalize my search in Mason, Ohio (which specifically, Don was very knowledgeable of the area and the specific home build pros and cons) and after having those first time buyer offer jitters (meaning I wanted every house that I stepped foot in) - Don was able to really help me see the positives and negatives to every home. He walked me through a possible failure of a home that was FSBO (for sale by owner) as well as a foreclosure listing. He was a true salesperson and was always willing to "get the job done" by being forward and direct with the selling party. In my opinion, this ensured that I would get the best home for my budget as well as helped push the process along so that we could close sooner. The day of closing, I was glad it got pushed back because I wasn't ready to separate from my nightly routine of hanging out with Don at several different hopeful homes. The final closing day, after signing several papers with the title agency, a hug sealed the deal with my realtor and I parting ways. I am extremely fortunate to have had such a great team including the Lender that I used - I would recommend Don for any of your home buying needs. I cannot say enough about how much he not only taught me but made this home buying process an adventure and now success. Thanks, Don!
