Connect with a good lender. Make sure before you make any big purchases you ask your lender. If you are purchasing the home with someone else that you are both on the same page or have some common ground and that you both agree you are willing to compromise with the other one on the right home. These are the things that create some of the biggest missed opportunities and slow downs.

Prepare your house for the market, Price correctly (biggest thing), Be willing to adjust to the market changes if need be.

I have worked with both seller's and buyer's. My past clients are almost 50/50 for each which allows me the unique ability to give the current buyer/seller perspective and help leverage against our competitors.

One of my favorite transactions was helping a family buy a secondary home that would be utilized as a family vacation spot. The transaction itself was difficult to navigate through all the things that kept popping up. However we worked as a team with all the parties and came up with creative things that helped satisfy both the seller and buyers needs. We got to closing and the family got their vacation home. I still keep in touch with them and it has been fun to watch the renovations they have made.

Well I have wanted to be a real estate agent since I graduated high school. I was always talked out of it. I was going to open house, always talking about real estate, and complaining about my job situation to my best friend. One day she was tired of listening to me and said "Just shut up and go do it. Why are you not following your dreams?" It really hit me. long story short here I am doing what I love and helping people.
