ZillowVERIFIEDIt all started very promisingly. We were very impressed with how this realtor was able to advertise himself. We thought he would apply this talent to advertise our home after inspecting the property. He suggested we do nothing. He advised us not to touch anything. We did not agree with that. We changed all the light switches the sockets the toilet seats, the shower wand and painted the entire home inside so it would be as clean as possible. Dirk considered this an unnecessary expense. The price point he used to launch the listing was $649,900 which even to us seemed high. The homes in our neighborhood of 220 homes have been selling between 450,000 and 575,000 a few of the larger homes have sold for more. We asked Dirk about lowering the price he disagreed with us. So we waited another two weeks then he said we should lower it to a price point below $550,000. We did not want to lower the price that much so it became 589,900 and after 53 days on the market with only one showing, we decided to give Dirk a call to ask him about some of the photos we did not like and since he took the photos himself, we were going to ask about hiring a professional photographer to take new pictures, so we could kind of re-launch the listing new photos, new description, new price. So I called Dirk to discuss an error in the description . The large reduction in price and the photos that we did not like , he became confrontational staining that it was his listing and he did not need micromanaging and what was I expecting him to do when the commission was not to his satisfaction. So he immediately stated we should really part ways. However at this time I cannot discuss it. I have physical therapy to go to. We will talk about it later. He never contacted me again instead he terminated my listing without telling me anything. Which is exactly what happened. He never showed me any pictures before going live. He never gave us the description to proof before going live. Totally unacceptable behavior from Mr. Fischer since he works for a company that advertises that you will get professional pictures . That you will have an agent that will work with you for a set commission. Mr. Dirk Fischer is NOT the agent you want to hire.
