My advice would be this is one of the most important purchases you will make. Look at as many homes as needed, have home & pest inspections done & remember some things are easily changed about a house, such as paint, flooring but you can’t change the location. Make sure location is good with you.

I would suggest doing some minor updates before placing on market if they are needed, such as paint, new front door, shampoo carpet, declutter (if necessary rent storage unit) landscaping. You need curb appeal if you can’t get them through the front door you won’t sell your home.
