Desiree did a great job with aEURoeleg workaEUR? when we were inquiring about areas we were interested in and getting us more information on listings. She was prompt in gathering and relaying listing information to us. She was very friendly and helpful. If this review was based solely on how she helped us with listings, she would get an A+ score. We have to consider all factors in our review, however, and we cannot give Desiree our satisfaction with the actual buying process of a home we were interested in. We scheduled a showing with Desiree and shortly before We arrived at the home, we received a text from her that her husband would show the home in her place. At the showing he said she had to be at the library for a reading. We look back on this now and feel it was the first sign that Desiree may not have been a good fit for us, but she had shown us another home prior and I felt a connection so we didnt make an issue of it and went through the showing with her husband. We did not receive a condition report until I asked for it and then I received it by text later from Desiree. We asked many times to receive phone calls vs texts but the texts appear to be her method of choice to contact, which led to confusion many times for us. We began to feel as though we were not being heard and that she wasnt working for us at times. We made mistakes in the transaction and rushed into the offer of the home contract without having her read through it with us. We do not blame her for all of these mistakes, but we asked several times for her to call us instead of texting or sending us things to sign electronically without a call to explain and this wasnt happening. After our inspection we had more serious concerns and we felt she was less interested in helping to get us released from the contract. We asked ourselves, aEURoeIsnt she working for us?aEUR? I am saddened with having to write this review because Desiree is a very nice person and we had similar tastes and thoughts on properties and we thought she would be very good for us once we started putting an offer together for a home purchase. Unfortunately, it was during this process that we began to feel differently. She had the showing appt with us, not her spouse. She never went through the home with us. When we tried to explain our major concerns with the inspection report we felt she was not hearing us. We repeatedly told her our complaints but we felt she wanted us to view the homes issues as minor. This in turn made us feel she did not want to lose a sale vs help us with getting released from this contract. We did get released from this sale in the end but we are sad that we had to get a bit testy for this result.
