Derek helped my parents sell their house and the reason it sold so quickly was in a large part due to him. I say this because we had listed a few months earlier with another agent but pulled the house off the market due to a lackluster few weeks. We didn't do any research or vetting the first time, so the second time around, I came up with a list of questions to ask and talked to multiple agents. Derek is truly exceptional. My husband Jim and I met Derek 2 years ago at an open house in El Cerrito. We chose Derek as our buyer agent because he is a great communicator and has a warm demeanor.
