Dennis helped us purchase the perfect home for us in the community we desired. We were actually on a vacation, noticed the home and model we were considering just listed. I am an 81-year-old senior who has been living alone for the last two and half years. Having gone through a serious health challenge my family encouraged me to move to a senior facility close to one of them. That meant selling my house. I had contacted one other agent before speaking with Dennis and knew what the market price for my house was. I contacted Dennis for reasons that are not relevant to this review. Dennis explained to me his strategy and suggested that we price the house at 5% below market in order to be competitive and drive more offers in faster. While I was unsure of this at first, I decided to trust in Dennis's expertise and to take Dennis's advice and go with his strategy. In addition to marketing the house, he also engaged the services of a very capable stager who did an outstanding job. Everything that was done for the sale of my house was fast tracked. Prior to the weekend open houses that Dennis held (less than a week after listing), we received comments from one prospective buyer who seemed interested and said the price was right. You can imagine what went through my mind. After the first day of the open house, I received a cash offer aEUR" which is always going to be low. Yes, I was discouraged. But after the second day, I was informed of multiple offers. The offer that I accepted was SIGNIFICANTLY higher than the list price or what the earlier market value said. Note the word significantly in capital letters. I mean it in every sense of the word. In addition to marketing the property, Dennis assisted me in closing the sale in record time for an FHA backed sale. Do not let your fear get the better of you. My personal experience is an excellent example.
