About Deirdre Coleman

Originally from the North Shore of Long Island, Deirdre attended Villanova University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college she entered the fashion industry through the Macy's Executive Training Program and moved up through various positions from sales manager, assistant buyer, to associate merchandise manager of the main floor in Herald Square. She then moved over to a sales executive position working for designer Tommy Hilfiger before becoming a mother and homemaker. Deirdre and her family have lived in the Chatham/ Madison area for the past 20 years and before that lived in Short Hills for 10. Deirdre has a genuine desire to help people. When working with clients who want to buy or rent a home, she pays attention to their needs and wants to help them find the perfect fit. When working with clients who want to sell their home, Deirdre utilizes her knowledge along with the vast resources and marketing strategies available from Turpin Realtors to secure the best deal possible. Her goal is to ensure a smooth, successful real estate experience from first meeting through closing. Deirdre enjoys gardening, skeet shooting, kayaking, and paddle boarding. She also likes to settle down with a good book. She is a board member of the Moore Estate HOA, a volunteer at Morristown Medical Center, a former CCD teacher at Corpus Christi Parish in Chatham, a former member of the Chatham High School Athletic Booster Club.

My wife and I had always wanted to move out from the city and we met Deirdre at the open house. Although she was representing the seller, we liked her so much because of her honesty and knowledge of the area, that we asked her to represent us as well. I got a new job in a different state and had to move quickly, Deirdre listed my home for sale but when we realized that it was not moving fast enough, Deirdre listed it for rent and we had a lease contract within 2 days. 10 months later, when I was ready to sell, Deirdre managed the entire process for me as I already lived in another state. She coordinated contractor and repair visits and took all of that responsibility off my hands. I had an offer for full list price and a closing within 30 days. Deirdre was a true friend and a professional!
