I am Debbie, the Team Leader for The Sellsational Realty Group. Originally from San Antonio TX, I have resided in the Dallas TX area for 24 years. I've been involved in real estate for 10 of those years. I am a Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer, and I have received numerous awards, including a prestigious "Broker MVP" award from my previous broker. Although I love working with all types of buyers and sellers, I find it extremely rewarding to help lead first time home buyers on the path to home ownership. I also take pride in making my listings stand out with superb photography, videography, marketing, and so much more! Prior to embarking on a real estate career, I was a Crime Scene Investigator and also hold a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. I also previously was a professional ice skater and a coach. Additionally, I am an avid Snoopy fan and love all things Snoopy! I also am the wife of a local Police Chief and together we have two children. When time permits, my hobbies include traveling with my family and checking off places on my bucket list like The Maldives and Costa Rica!

One of my favorite—and strangest—sales was a home in Ferris, TX, located directly across the street from both a cemetery and a landfill. Most agents would’ve slapped a “challenging location” disclaimer on it and prayed for a miracle. Me? I grabbed my coffee, leaned into the chaos, and built a marketing campaign with just the right mix of dark humor and real estate strategy.
The listing description read like something out of a gothic sitcom: “Forever neighbors across the street and trash service that’s... always nearby.” People laughed, shared it, remembered it. Instead of trying to hide the obvious, I made it the hook—and let the home’s best features (great layout, solid bones, price point) close the deal. We attracted curious buyers, had multiple showings, and found the perfect match who saw past the quirks and into the potential.
That home was a reminder of why I love this job: every house has a story, and with the right blend of creativity, strategy, and a slightly twisted sense of humor—even the weird ones can shine.
Buying my first home in my late 20s as a single woman was a turning point—I actually enjoyed the experience and became curious to learn everything about real estate.
