I am a Nebraska native (and a HUGE Husker fan)! I grew up in a tiny farm town in southwest Nebraska and attended college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. My husband and I lived in Lincoln for 9 years, moved to West Des Moines, Iowa for 2 years and then decided it was time for a major change in our lives. In the spring of 1999, I moved with my family to Silverthorne, Colorado. Along with my husband, Rick, and our two boys, Tyler and Jordan, I enjoy the many outdoor activities that Summit County has to offer. As a family, we enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, and camping. Hiking is my true passion - as well as running alongside the lake or the Blue River. I am also an active volunteer in the community, serve on the Lake Dillon Theatre Company Board of Directors, and play the piano for one of the Praise Teams at Dillon Community Church.

I am the Broker-Owner of Colorado Real Estate Company - Nelson Group which serves Summit County. We serve all areas of the county, but we particularly specialize in the Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne, and Frisco Colorado areas.

I have always enjoyed following the real estate market and have had my toe in the water a few times. I began selling real estate in Summit County (including Keystone, Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne and Breckenridge) in the fall of 2005. I have experience in title insurance and mortgage lending. Upon arriving in Summit County, I became the Executive Officer for the Summit County Builders Association in Frisco, CO. Prior to moving to Summit County I was the Service Center Director for Allied Insurance where customer service was the #1 priority.
