ZillowVERIFIEDWas paired with this realtor at random through Zillow, asked to see a vacant property and if she could schedule it and only got a response a day later because I followed up on the inquiry. Then was told that the only way I'd get to see the property was if I had preaproval in hand when I showed up despite showing no interest in even making an offer, only towards seeing the property to find out if I'd like to consider purchasing it. Was consistently berated by her about personal contacts for mortgages that I said multiple times I had no interest in, and then was declined a showing because as she said "would you like to work and not eventually get paid.". Undserstandable view point if it was a labor intesive house showing with a lot of research but it was a plot of land I wanted to look at which she didn't even need to show me around. Apologies but maybe you shouldn't be a random pull for Zillow, where people are shopping around and not dead set on buying, if you're not willing to do showings with no guarantee of making a sale. It's called networking and treating people like a sentient pay check doesn't make them feel very motivated to buy through your reality office. She might be really good at selling houses if you're already dead set on a purchase but if you're just looking around she's going to try and strong arm you into getting pre-approved through her contacts or she'll cancel your showing that she already scheduled without mentioning a "requirement" to be pre-approved that she requires for showings, just to look at a vacant property, I would not recommend for people just looking around and I'd suggest Zillow to not pair her to random people just trying to see properties.
