As I'm sure many people are aware, the 2025 housing market for home sellers has been tough in Davis, CA. By the time that I enlisted David Fletcher to assist in the sale of our home, it was looking grim. David took time to go through market analysis numbers, show us how home sales trend throughout the year, and gave us an important snapshot of the current housing market. Very quickly, he and his team advised on small upgrades, inspection reports, had the house staged, and produced a beautiful array of house photos and a top-grade brochure. Our house was listed so nicely on Zillow and other online home search engines, complete with a video of David touring the home, which included drone footage of the aerial view of the house and surrounding parks. He organized a wine and cheese event at the home and spoke to interested buyers. He communicated with us daily on updates and action items as they arose. Within one week of his listing, our home was sold! David helped our family sell my parents home, and we are so grateful that he was recommended to us by a friend. We were impressed with how well-prepared he was from the start, showing up with a binder that laid out all the information we needed before we even knew we needed it. At the time his schedule seemed like a dream scenario, but David delivered on every promise he made in that first meeting. My parents had already moved out of state, and my husband and I were not local, but David essentially said, aEURoeHand me the keys and Ill take care of everything,aEUR? and he did! He helped us make all the decisions, and looking back we probably didnt even need to be involved in those. It was more just the process of letting go of a house our family loved for over fifty years. We were entering the market a little late in the season, but he lined up all the inspections and expedited the upgrades so we could get the house on the market as quickly as possible, and we ended up getting a great offer in four days. The entire process went incredibly smoothly because he took care of any potential problems in advance. He met with the inspectors, knew which repairs to do and which not, convinced the city to take care of a sewer issue that they were initially claiming was our problem, and even dug into our front fence himself searching out dry rot. He was at the house late at night making sure everything was cleaned properly before we went on the market, and his son even watered my moms fifty-year-old indoor tree. In other words, he went above and beyond, and he obviously puts a lot of thought and effort into his work. His assistant, Vivian, was also fantastic, and his marketing materials and staging choices are quite stunning. David and his team were fantastic to work with. My mother needed to sell her Davis home shed lived in for over 50 years as shed transitioned to a senior living community.
