FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Buyers should first get prequalified with a local lender to get a better picture of what their budget will be. Next, discuss your goals (needs and wants) with a local Realtor that knows the ins and outs of this unique market for more guidance and to discover additional possibilities or hidden gems that may not have been on your radar in the beginning.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Pricing your home correctly is the most important aspect of selling, and understanding your goals and situation that may go beyond pricing is always an important first conversation. Working with a Realtor such as myself who loves to take a deep dive into statistics and has a finger on the pulse of the ever changing market is a great start to know what you can realistically expect to get for your home. Sometimes that price is more than expected and unfortunately sometimes it is less than some would prefer. Be sure to work with an expert that is upfront and honest with data to backup a list price along with a detailed marketing strategy to maximize that price while ensuring your other goals are met at the same time.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Each relationship I build is a special opportunity and I am proud and honored to be trusted to assist in such a big decision. The High Country is a unique market, and with that there can be unique needs. I have helped buyers searching for land to build their dream home, sellers who are downsizing or have life changes, parents purchasing properties for their college students, first time home buyers wanting to start a life here in the mountains, investors wanting to maximize ROI, and families looking for the perfect vacation home to build memories.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I had the honor of recently assisting a local elementary school principal with the purchase of a home for his family. After years of renting they had decided to invest in themselves and put down roots in a home they could make their own. With our area being a 2nd home and resort market, it was certainly a challenge to find the right fit to fulfill their goals with a large family and fairly limited budget. Homes in their price range are rare and in very high demand, but after a few months of diligent searching I was able to find a home that wasn't listed in our local MLS that was the perfect fit! To my surprise, the home was listed for sale previously and things simply didn't work out for them to purchase then, but they had dreamed of owning this exact home for years. We were able to get under contract for a fair price below list and negotiate needed repairs just in time for them to move in before their lease expired. I truly enjoy being able to be a part of people's stories and helping their dreams become reality.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
My wife began the journey into Real Estate first. After years of working for a local attorney and assisting with the back end of Real Estate, she decided to go to the front lines and begin her own career in Real Estate. At that time, I was still working in Marketing for a local company and when it was clear that company would be relocating I decided to put my love of marketing, analytics and people to work in a new way by joining her Real Estate team. With her legal background any my marketing experience, we make a diverse team.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have always had a passion for learning. Since becoming a Realtor, I have pursued various accreditations to continue to grow my knowledge and toolbox for assisting my clients. I am a Certified Pricing Strategy Advisor as well as an Accredited Buyer's Representative. As a Certified Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), I provide data-driven pricing strategies for sellers and expert advocacy for buyers. This means you get the right price for your home, a competitive edge in negotiations, and guidance every step of the way. My degree in marketing helps sellers listing with me to gain better exposure for their listings through branding, positioning and targeted buyer outreach. I continuously enjoy discovering new technologies and tools to continue to grow and make a meaningful impact on helping my clients.

David was great to work with. We had to complete this sale from 900 miles away due to my husbands health. He and Tara could not have been more helpful. They are efficient, professional and knowledgeable.

We had an incredible experience working with David. From start to finish, they were supportive, knowledgeable, and always one step ahead. They guided us through every part of the buying process and were always available to answer questions or explain the details. What really stood out was how proactive they were?going above and beyond to ensure any issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. They also connected us with reliable service providers, which made everything so much smoother. We truly felt like they took as much off our plate as possible, making the entire experience far less stressful. Highly recommend!

This was our second time working with David. Our first was buying and the second was selling. Both events were flawless. He listened to our needs, thoroughly advised us the processes and was extremely great to work with. He would update us on progress or questions asked by buyers and always got back to us in a timely manner. Both negotiations were satisfactory to both buyer and seller. This is very comforting knowing he had our interest from the beginning process. We will be buying again in the nest 5-7 years and David will be our first call.

David was hands down the best realtor I?ve ever worked with. He was always a consummate professional and went above and beyond to advocate for me. He was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I felt like he always had my best interest at heart. I would hardly recommend him to anyone who needs a good realtor for the Boone area.
