If you're looking for a knowledgeble realtor in the Petoskey area, look no further. Mr. Carlson assisted my wife and I in the purchase of our first home. We were inexperienced, unprepared, and unfamiliar with not only the process of buying a home, but Petoskey itself. In addition, we began the house-hunting process while we were on the other side of the country in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Carlson made a point to get to know us personally. When we were unable to personally see properties, he toured them himself, taking video and photos for us to view. He routinely made himself available for us--even after hours and on the weekends. We were not easy clients. Mr. Carlson went above and beyond for us, anticipating problems before they occurred. He suggested lenders to us (but did not pressure us in any particular direction), dealt with our difficult and rather un-charismatic lender, suggested schools for our kids, and even helped try to find people willing to help us unload our moving truck. He is very knowledgeable about the area. Before we arrived, he provided detailed maps and video tours he personally took. He answered our very basic questions without hesitation and happily investigated our more difficult questions. If you're looking for a realtor who is genuine, knowledgeable, not pushy, and knows how to get things taken care of quickly, Dave Carlson is nothing less than an excellent choice.
