A 3rd generation Washingtonian and 20+ year Capitol Hill resident, Dare specializes in helping her clients buy and sell homes in great urban DC neighborhoods like: Capitol Hill, Hill East, Southeast/Southwest Waterfront, Atlas District, H Street, NoMa, Trinidad and beyond. Prior to real estate she spent nearly 15 years at AOL in client services, business strategy and business development. The skills she acquired and honed at AOL such as strategic planning, making data driven decisions, deal negotiation and leveraging technology to drive results have served her well in her real estate career. At her former brokerage, Coldwell Banker, Dare was a top tier producer and consistently recognized among the top 10% producing agents nationwide. Dare is on the ball and known for being resourceful, flexible and unflappable. She distinguishes herself by delivering outstanding customer service with quick response times and an eagerness to help no matter the issue. She is honest and tells her clients what they need to hear. Incredibly well connected, Dare has an enormous network of local resources she leverages to help guide her clients through all sorts of challenges. Dare lives halfway between Union Station and Eastern Market with her husband, young daughter (a 4th generation Washingtonian!) and Chihuahua dachshund mix. She is a volunteer coach for Girls On The Run during the season; co owns a small DC based wine business and is a commissioned portrait artist.
