Your Preferred Realtor for the South Florida Area Miami Dade County, Broward Counthy, Palm Beach Raised in suburban Saint Louis, Missouri since I was 15, and things were not much different from "The Wonder Years" TV show. But being born in Peru, starts conversations about Machu Picchu as one of the 7 marvels of the new world, or about the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Peru is also known for it's latest economic growth, but when I moved to The States in 1989, Peru was fighting the worst economic and political crisis. It was at war with terrorist groups. They had just started to move their killings and car bombings into the capital when my father decided to move me into a safe environment. I was happy that I was going to grow up in the same country as most of my Rock and Heavy Metal heroes. Upon moving I got a top of the line electric guitar. In those days it was a expensive one, and nearly impossible to get one like it in Peru. It was more than a hobby, I would play for about 3 to 4 hours daily along audio cassettes and VHS tapes that I started to collect. After graduating from high school, I went to college to study music, but switched to Business Administration and Management. I obtained my Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management and became a sales manager supervising about 40 bilingual sales agents at AT&T. While at AT&T I obtained my Bachelor's Of Business Administration at Fontbonne University. It was at AT&T that the idea was planted on me to move to Florida. AT&T had awarded me with yearly paid vacation trips to Florida as a reward for having the top sales team each of those years. Real estate had been in the back of my mind since growing up; several friend's parents were Realtors. In 2004 I obtained the Missouri Real Estate License but a few months after I decided to move to Florida. What can I say, it's much more fun showing homes in December without stepping on snow. I've been a full time Florida licensed Realtor since 2005. Just the perfect fun year to start, as the Real Estate bubble started to burst. I couldn't pick a better time to move, right? Well, let's just say that the strong survived and were able to continue a successful real estate career. I'm thankful that I've gained so much experience in the process.
