Daniel Merrigan

I grew up immersed in the Real Estate and Construction/Homebuilding industries, as my grandfather and father involved me in the business from an early age.

After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2007 with a Business degree, I moved back to Windsor Locks to begin my career, becoming the third generation at Merrigan & LeFebvre Realty. This was also the beginning of the worst and longest economic and real estate recession the country had seen in decades. Real estate agents were leaving the business at a record pace.

During these downtimes, I learned how important it is to be accountable and honest with my clients and that here is no substitute in this industry for hard work. My father brings 40+ years of experience; he has been and continues to be my mentor. I consider myself lucky and proud to have learned the old fashioned way of how the real estate industry works. I combine that knowledge and experience with my own experiences into the fast-changing climate of today's digital world.

I have enjoyed a successful 12-year career as a real estate veteran, hold a Real Estate Broker license, and have worked in every aspect of the real estate industry, including representing buyers, sellers, investors, and banks in residential, commercial and land transactions. I take pride in brining top professional service without pressure or sales pitch.

Dan lives in Windsor Locks with his wife Emily and son Austin. Outside of the office Dan likes to play golf, travel, ski, scuba dive, be outside, and spend time with friends and family.
