Cynthia Owens

Cyn Owens grew up in rural Perquimans County. After 25 years in Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks, she has returned to Perquimans County where she lives on the Perquimans River. Cyn enjoys photography, many of her photos have appeared in the Daily Advance as a reader submitted photo. Since acquiring her Real Estate License in 2000, Cyn has been heavily involved in Real Estate Sales in Northeastern North Carolina and Vacation Rentals on the Outer Banks. Cyn has been a Broker in Charge for 9 years. A strong advocate of Community Service, Cyn is a board member of the Albemarle Area United Way. She has served as Past-President and Board Member for the Museum of the Albemarle Board of Trustees, Girls Incorporated of the Albemarle Officer and member of the Board of Directors, Greater Albemarle Red Cross Officer and member of the Board of Directors, Elizabeth City Junior Woman's Club Officer and member of the Board of Directors and was Chair Person for the re-birth of the Albemarle Potato Festival in May of 2001.
