Meet with the Realtor before jumping into seeing homes if possible. Even if that meeting is by Zoom or just a conference call. An experienced agent will provide you with the information you really should know before you start looking at homes and this gives them the opportunity to get to know you better and learn more of what you are looking for. As Realtors we can provide market insight, help you figure out where to buy, let you know what timing is like, what costs will be and get you in contact with lender recommendations as well. We offer these consultations for free!

Interview agents or if you only meet with one and don't get a great feeling, meet with more. You have only 1 first impression opportunity for selling your home and you will be working with that agent for months usually. You really need to make sure you have someone experienced on your side that you think is a good fit for you. Be sure they have sold in your area and know it well; be sure they are not a new agent, and they have experience. The lack of experience can cost you money. Find out the agent’s stats for selling and make sure that lines up to selling your home within your time frame and maximize how much you get for your home.

We have helped first time home buyers and guiding them through the process. Buyers moving up into larger homes and selling their home and how to coordinate both. Those looking to downsize their home because they need an easier home to manage or need to get away from stairs. Clients sell their last house before they go into independent or assisted living homes. We also help lots of veterans and clients relocating when buying and selling homes.

I met with a couple looking to downsize, meaning they were going to be selling and buying a home. They had previously met with another Realtor and then when I met with them, I realized the previous agent never explained how you can buy and sell in this market and what their options were. We sat and talked through it all, came up with a plan A and a plan B, I helped them through figuring out what route to go. We successfully got them into their new home and their home sold quickly and it all worked out how they wanted and needed it to.

I (Crystal) worked at a RE/MAX office in IL for a couple years as an office manager and assistant to agents. This got Drew and I both interested in Real Estate. Drew was a restaurant owner and looking for a change and I just loved the whole real estate industry. We jumped in and have loved it ever since.

I (Crystal) received my Broker's license in 2021 to further advance our skills. We have renovated several homes which allows us the knowledge and experience to help sellers work with vendors & make selections to prepare their home to sell. I have a background in interior decorating and design as well, that helps. We have helped many clients build homes, guiding them through the whole process and even working with several builders directly in new home selections and selling their spec homes.
