We met Corinda Wong by chance over 30 years ago when my husband and I purchased and built our dream home right next to Corinda and her family. Corinda and I have both been thru raising two kids, several dogs and now grandchildren together and my husband and I consider them part of our family. Corinda has helped us navigate the volatile real estate market both here in Hawaii and on the mainland. Corinda and Team Wong would be hard to beat if someone is selling their house. From the beginning Corinda was easy to talk with and understand and seemed to appreciate my perspective and special needs. I was selling my house, looking for an apartment rental to move into, and going to be away most of the time the house was on the market/in escrow after the initial open house. I wanted my agent to take care of the sale and apartment finding and anything else that came up. That's what happened. As we moved through offers and counter-offers and other events Corinda & Team Wong got things done again and again, even overseeing a front yard dig to rectify a clogged sewer line while I was away. As soon as I returned, they had me looking at potential rentals and I quickly found one that had most of what I wanted, with the help of Team Wong member Shaun. They actually listened to what I told them was important to me in a rental. I had heard that the team concept meant that initially the realtor was attentive, but then handed the seller off to the team and things got confusing and fragmented with the seller not knowing who to turn to for what, and the listing realtor basically disappearing until time to close on the sale. Definitely not my experience with Corinda & Team Wong. Corinda is very responsive to phone calls, txts and emails and the whole team was in the loop on everything all the time as far as I could see. No ball was dropped; even when Corinda had Covid while I was away Team Wong picked up and carried on. I have already spread the word to several friends who are looking for an agent to either sell their property or buy a property or both. Corinda Wong with Team Wong Hawaii helped my husband and I sell our Mililani townhome. She came highly recommended by our financial advisor because we wanted to do a 1031 exchange. I trusted Corinda's plan in getting our property sold fast as well as getting the best price for our home. We took Corinda's advice and had new flooring in our kitchen and half-bathroom. My husband and I appreciated the fact that she offered to front the expenses for new flooring as this would lead to the best price. Renovations were done quickly, and Corinda and her team staged our home beautifully. This led to multiple offers with $30k over the asking price. Unfortunately, we ran into challenges that were out of our control and fell out of escrow three times! The first escrow, I was a bit worried but after hearing Corinda's voice and assuring our home would get sold, my worries faded away. Corinda acted quickly and was always on top of things. She really took good care of us. When we fell out of escrow the third time, she advocated for us, and the seller's agent gave us a small compensation. Fourth time was a charm because this led to the best deal at $65k over the asking price! We absolutely, hands down, recommend working with Corinda and her team!
