After the first phone call and showing we knew Connie was the realtor for us. As first time home buyers, she took the time to listen to us, even when we thought we were asking stupid questions, and made sure she truly understood what we were looking for. Connie always had time for us which was important because our schedules were so crazy. She was always there to answer a question or with a suggestion. She was awesome and went above and beyond we not only bought a house but we gained a friend !! She is the only realtor in the Panhandle that I would recommend!!!

These sweet rock star clients had to sell their home because elderly parents needed to move in with them ASAP. One of my clients works from home so it also needed to be hardwired for Internet for work & big enough to have two wings in the house. We started out as a cash sale, contingent upon the sale of their current home. After a little hunting, we did find a beautiful little dream fixer upper that would absolutely meet all of their needs and wants . In addition to that, there was also a nice starter mobile home on the property that is move in ready while fixing up the main home! Plenty of storage… for their beautiful RV, boats, and other toys. Shortly after going under contract title discovered that there was an open permit on my sellers home that is now under contract with some first time homebuyers.….next, my sellers same home did not appraise and now we needed to consult a lender to possibly bridge the gap for the purchase of the new larger fixer upper home that will move in the entire family and elderly parents and under contract at as well. As always, I called the very best vendors and lender , I knew she would help. She jumped right in , got them preapproved and organized for just the right amount to ensure moving forward and it also now left my clients with a generous budget to do all their repairs removing that stress. Mind you, we started out a cash deal… once lending gets involved, then, new requirements are to be met such as Inspection repairs, WDO repairs if any, appraisals, surveys. I call the best inspector to jump on the team and handle not one but another last minute home inspection as well!! Now let’s switch over to the next bump in the road… the mobile home on the property ends up having an unfinished title transfer!!!! Listing agent puts her cape back on again… contacts her elderly seller and had to go then become her POA to transfer the mobile home title successfully. Just before the mobile home title issue, we had just finished dealing with the other issue which was a nice wooden shed was taken off the property the week prior… This shocked everyone. Come to find out, it belong to the prior renters that were living there before this home was listed for sale. However, the seller now had to replace that shed that my buyers were counting on having and using after moving in… listing agent and I came up with a solution for that…back over to this mobile home title situation... due to the diligent hard work of title agency, and in the last moments get that resolved. Finally, while signing we had a few more signing bumps but after about 2 1/2 hours there , we CLOSED successfully. My clients shared how in the past other agents barely cared and how grateful they were for our team caring and never giving up …..I could never ever relate with that because I care so much about ALL the parties involved , not just my clients. Thankful to have helped and never gave up even when my clients wanted to.
I have always loved the real estate world and began in remodeling. In addition to teaching some years ago , newspaper coordinator and serving in my local communities and schools, then it just made sense to go ahead and study to become a real estate agent. The season in life after empty nesting allowed me to do so and just 3 years ago I chose to go for it. I couldn't be happier in helping people and building my own business again.
I love learning and staying on top of education and trainings. I am currently studying for my broker's license and my GRI designation. I have already received my resort and second property specialist designation and have over 25 years experience in remodeling. I have already assisted First Time Home Buyers , Move Up Buyers/Sellers , Empty Nesters, Investors, Relocations, Luxury and beach front, Condos and Land.
