About Colleen Post

Colleen Post was born and raised in Palos Park, Illinois. She attended Mother McAuley High School before attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She started working in her father's Real Estate office at the age of 16 and hasn't stopped. From working multiple years in buying/selling and rehabbing homes to doing loans- she has done it all! Colleen bought her first condo in Midlothian in 2005 - sold it and moved to the city!! In 2009 she bought her first House in Palos Heights, IL just minutes away from her parents (lucky her!)- She has grown up in the real estate business and has been a licensed Realtor for 19 years!

Colleen helped me understand the market for our house better. She did a fantastic job. The other agents we talked to didn't seem as interested and in my opinion, Colleen went above and beyond. She's been nothing but very kind, patient, and professional with us. She showed us similar properties and described how little differences affected the value of our home. Colleen was so personal and so easy to get along with. We had so much fun with her, she made the experience 10x more exciting for us. I loved that she would set up many houses to see in one day instead of one this day and maybe two next week.She brought us to many different styles of homes and prices so we could get a wide range of ideas of what would be good for us. When we found the house that we knew was for us, it turned into a short sale. I heard so many horror stories about them how they can take at least a year and go on for many. Well she made it all come through for us in Only took 4 months!! We are still so in love with our home and we owe it all to Colleen

Colleen is that person that goes the extra step in assisting you! She showed us numerous homes, never letting us just settle for anything to make a commission. We actually bought a foreclosure that was very difficult to buy. There were numerous times where the Village of Alsip, managing realtor and our contractor had to meet at the house. Colleen not only set this up for us, she was there as well! Through out the whole process no matter how difficult or frustrating it was, she was always there for us. And that was just her doing her job, her personality is awesome! Colleen is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend her and use her again when looking for more property.
