ZillowVERIFIEDI've heard real estate agents compared to midwives and therapists. After working with Gail Chisolm, I can add grief counselor, ninja and magician. Gail was my buyer's agent when I bought my first house, and my seller's agent when I got my first divorce. To say that she worked above her pay grade would be to imply that any one person could actually be paid enough to do what she did. Gail juggled all the competing interests, requirements of the divorce decree, legal interventions and what might be politely termed client freakouts. (It's me, I'm the client.) And she handled it all with grace, fortitude and a problem-solving ability that I can only assume has made her Maryland's escape room state champion. Not only was she able to sell the house in a slow market, after many unnecessary and stressful delays, she sold it BEFORE it was listed and for ABOVE ASKING PRICE. There are not enough ALL CAPS in the world to emphasize HOW THRILLED I was at the final outcome of a very challenging sales process, and how skillfully she navigated it. I'm not prone to hyperbole beyond telling my aunt I "loved" the toilet paper cozy she crocheted for me. I can sincerely say that Gail Chisolm is, hands-down, one of the finest, kindest, most thoughtful and most thorough professionals I've ever worked with, in any capacity.

Gail was not a passive agent, she made things happen. Her experience and expertise guided us on what to focus on . If we needed to have work done, she had a list of workmen. Her suggestions were done respectfully and I never felt pressured if I saw something differently. Gail was also very knowledgeable about contracts and regulations . I felt comfortable knowing things were being done right. Gail was always ready to help in any way she could. Gail came highly recommended by friends she had worked with before. She knew the right people to get for inspections, and the ins and outs of dealing with septic, wells, and other systems that are common to waterfront property. She gave us good advice about the neighborhood and comparable prices in other areas on the water. She also did the work of 2 realtors, as our seller's realtor was not helpful or responsive. Gail made the whole process easy for us and did so with a smile and great attitude and professional demeanor. I highly recommend using Gail for a real estate transaction.
