We rented but did not want to rent longer than one year because we have 2 dogs and a young child we wanted a larger home and yard for.This was not our first home-buying experience and we were very specific about what we wanted in a realtor. We needed someone who would answer questions about the process, not just tell us they would "handle it". We also needed someone with VA Loan knowledge and resources. At the time we were searching, we had a very odd schedule with one of us working M-F daytime and the other working nights and weekends. This made our time to go to showings a challenge. We wanted someone who would not force us into a house we did not want and we most of all wanted up-front honesty. We chose to work with Chuck based on the recommendation of a family member. We were told he had extensice knowledge of the area and he would be more than willing to answer all questions and accomodate our odd schedule. THIS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE TRUE! Chuck was truly AMAZING!We appreciated that Chuck accomodated our needs as stated above, but on a more personal level, Chuck was not at all pushy. We felt he listened to our boundaries about budget, location and home characteristics. He never suggested we see a home above budget. He never encouraged us to put an offer because the market was not on our side. He always made it clear that if the house was not right, we keep looking and it will come. It took nearly 6 months from start to closing but he stuck by the whole time. There were times we almost caved just to have a house but Chuck pointed out reasons why the house may not be "right" for us. We evenetually found the best home for us and Chuck helped us make the best offer. Anyone who decides to work with Chuck should know they can trust him. Be honest with your needs and wants because he will respect those and your time to get you what you need as best he can!Thank you Chuck! Should we sell/buy again, we will be back to work with you!

Being a fellow business owner, Chuck provided good information about the laws and regulations in Pennsylvania for my husband's unique work space requirements for his small business. We had a more challenging situation moving from California back to Pennsylvania. After showing us multiple homes through Facetime and getting a good sense of exactly what type of space we were looking for in our budget, he did not disappoint. With the market being very competitive, we put an offer on a home days before the COVID shut down, without seeing the house in person! It was a big risk, but we trusted Chuck and he 100% came through. Despite the market being very competitive he helped negotiate the price of the home, we were thrilled about that. He was extremely helpful and reassuring, holding our hands during the closing process, as it was nerve wracking closing during the pandemic. It was so rewarding when everything came together beautifully in the end despite all the challenges of moving across the country and closing on a home a week later during a global pandemic. Chuck was so thoughtful to grab us a lovely bottle of champagne, much needed after all that. Fast forward four months later, we couldn't be any more happy in our new home and to be among family and childhood friends again. ZillowVERIFIED From day one it felt like Chuck was on our side. We met Chuck through a last minute Zillow request to see a home. During this time, we found Chuck to be very knowledgeable and caring. The entire time he listened to what we were looking for, what we were looking to spend, and our status as first time home buyers, and did everything in his power to help us find the right home. While we did not this particular house, we enjoyed our experience with Chuck so much that we decided he should be our realtor.We continued our search with Chuck, and ended up falling in love with the fourth house that we saw; however, it seemed that many other people were falling for this house as well. Due to our finances, all we could offer for the home was the asking price. At Chuck's encouragement, we provided a strong earnest deposit, and wrote a letter describing our family and why we wanted this home. He then went to the sellers and listing agent personally to present us by both reading the letter and talking a little bit more about us; and even though the sellers had higher offers on the home, they accepted our offer. This listing agent said he had never seen a realtor personally show up and present his clients in this fashion; but Chuck's hard work did not stop there. We made the mistake of choosing a lending company that was very unorganized. This lending company caused us to miss a number of important dates, so badly at times that we thought we might lose the house. However, Chuck remained confident, persistent, and positive for us the entire time. He constantly worked to keep our spirits high, and he made the tough phone calls to get our lender back on track. Furthermore, our lender continued to make the process a nightmare even up to closing by forcing us to push our closing time back; notifying us with less than 24 hours before closing. But even then, Chuck was still able to find a way to get everything done at a later time of our scheduled closing date.In closing, we are truly blessed to have had Chuck as our realtor. There is no doubt in our minds that if we had anyone else in our corner would not be living in the home of our dreams right now. We are forever grateful to Chuck, and we're proud to call him a friend.
