About Christy Needles
I have been in real estate from the last recession and going on my 17th year of selling homes in the area. I wanted to be the person that clients could trust and they knew that their money was treated as if it was our own and we wanted only the best deals for them. Our team all work together as a family to insure our clients are always cared for with all of us working full time from dawn to way past dusk. There are always agents that sound smooth talking but in the end, you pick someone that is truly watching out for your best interest and not just a quick dollar. The most important thing any agent should be interested in is that you find the best quality home for the best deal. Resale is always important whether you plan to stay 2 years or 25 years in a home as that is why finding a good negotiator is KEY!
I have told sellers the same thing. Find an agent who is firm. Someone who is not just marketing homes they way they have done for the last 20-25 years but are moving their marketing dollars and strategies to adapt each year with the moving market. We spend almost $100,000 a year in marketing for our clients to help them reach top dollar in record time on average closing homes at 98-110% of list values on most homes.
My team and I work with everyone from first time home buyers to luxury home clients. We have team members who specialize in different areas of town and clientele to insure the right person is meeting the clients needs. No deal is too small as everyone is at a different place in their lives.
I had a client who had worked with another agent to purchase a home and then thought they would have that agent sell their current home. They called me after the initial interview with that agent as they said, "Christy, I was told I need to replace all my carpet, paint the walls all white by their stager, take the reclaimed wood shelving down, etc." We went through the home, had the carpets cleaned, set up the home one on one with what they already owned and had the home professionally shot with photos and sold for full asking price in 4 hours of being on the market.
I received my bachelors in Business Management from Wichita State and just did not want to sit in an office until 5:30pm and get my kids at 6:00pm and never be out seeing the world and working with people. I thought I would do this part time when I started but learned that people wanted a hardworking, honest, reliable realtor and now over 16 years later we do almost 200 home sales a year thanks to a lot of referrals from past clients.
I assure clients that there is not a block in Wichita that you can not tell me that I do not know where you are as I know this town backwards and forwards. I always said if you are going to do something then do it right or not at all. I know we can as people always be learning but I have always liked to be able to share knowledge of homes with clients so they know more about their homes to care for them as they live and own them. The longer you live in a home the more you should know it like the back of your hand and how something works in it.
