Once you are thinking ?? or you are ready to buy a house. Christine Austins names should be the first and only Realitor on your mind or tongue ??. We had a very, very, very difficult seller to deal with and Christine came out her realtor shell and assisted with fighting for us to secure our new home as if she was the lawyer. Shes a very awesome person to work with. Words cannot even begin to described. She went above and beyond. From the very beginning I was able to tell that she was a genuine person that wanted to help her clients. My first conversation with her was during the loan shopping phase when one of the lenders that I applied introduced her to me and during that conversation, things went south when I asked questions about shopping for mortgage lenders. After hanging up furious and steaming, she called back trying to diffuse the situation and immediately asked me questions on how to help since this was my first time buying. She sent me multiple listings trying to pin down our preferences and as the process went on, let us pin down the kind of property we wanted.With the house finding and negotiations phase, Christine has excellent knowledge of the market and had broad experience to utilize in every step of the way. Multiple offers nearly went to attorney review (had been beat just because of how hot the market is by Hudson County and how low my downpayment is). She warned me of potentially costly mistakes like taking into account that a house was heating using oil, and a house that I did not expect to have flood insurance requiring about $4900 in premium a year (she insisted I get a quote first before putting in an offer). When we did go into attorney review, she insisted that we use the power of negotiations to finally convince a seller we had a good offer.That we did, and even simple wording to make the offer better for both the Seller and us, we ended up in a win-win situation. Despite delays from the attorneys and appraisal issues, we managed to close! Even to the end, she was on top of me and my attorney when we didn't have a Use and Occupancy agreement ready by closing time (which turned out that my attorney needed the final figures before doing so). Despite COVID and all, with all the hiccups and what-not, I'm forever grateful and will remember this experience. Let her help you decide on your new home!
