I inquired about a short term rental listing, attended by a request if the property owner or manager accepted PayPal or a credit card for payment (as the rental would be for business-related remote lodging). I was then asked by Mr. Zoch if I had good credit, to which I replied with my score, and then was asked if I had "solid reserves". I replied, "Please define "solid reserves". He proceeded to redefine the question qualitatively. I restated that I sought to understand what "solid" meant, quantitatively, as "solid" was amorphous and had no quantitative element. He replied with a frustrated and condescending tone, "Do you have $10,000, $20,000, or $70,000 in savings, or a bank account?!" I ended the call by saying that I did not like his tone. A most unprofessional and disenchanting exchange.
